About this item
Large portions taken from the plump mid-section of fresh hairtail, with head, tail and entrails already removed. Intact silvery skin and thick, compact flesh give a tender bite and a mild, clean flavour without a heavy fishy note. Flash-frozen shortly after capture with only a light ice glaze, so the original seafood taste comes through. Ready for pan-frying, braising and all the classic home seafood dishes. Cut into shorter sections for the pan, or braise whole with ginger, scallion and a splash of soy.
